Conservancy Day

Pure Florida is teaming up with local volunteers to clean beaches and mangrove areas in Collier County.

Pure Florida Conservation Days are scheduled for Saturday, May 22, Saturday, June 26 and Saturday, July 24.   Pure Florida is providing everything and looking for volunteers to join!  There is no cost to university or high school students with valid student ID.  General public cost is $15 per person. Each Pure Florida Conservation Day departs at 10am and returns at 1pm from Tin City Docks at 1200 5th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102.

“The idea came from our team, some of whom are university students looking to complete their volunteer hours.  Cleaning beaches is a great idea and a perfect way for us to give back.  Our tours, fishing and guest experience overall depend on a healthy, beautiful environment. We have the boats, trash bags and gloves, we just need a few more volunteers,” said Harry Julian, Pure Florida Owner.

Pure Florida invites university and high school students who need volunteer hours and any community member looking to sign-up and join us for Pure Conservation Days.  Pure Florida will be able to welcome up to 30 volunteers for each day.   Registration is required.  Volunteers can contact our team at 239.263.4949 to register.  Must have a valid student ID to receive FREE admission.

Departs Tin City Docks at 10 a.m. and cruises to different locations including Keewaydin Island beaches and mangrove areas to remove litter. Cleaning beaches and mangrove areas protect our ecosystem as a whole; keeping the water clean and reducing animal deaths due to being trapped or swallowing the litter.   The boat returns at approximately 1 p.m.
