In honor of the JDRF One Walk in Fort Myers on Saturday November 7th, Pure Florida will donate a portion of the proceeds raised during the weekend of November 7th and 8th to the JDRF One Walk.

JDRF is the leading global organization that funds T1D research. JDRF has invested nearly $2 billion in T1D research projects worldwide over the past 45 years.
Type 1 diabetes affects both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. Those suffering from type 1 diabetes lack the ability to produce insulin in their pancreas. Insulin is an essential hormone in the process of turning food into energy and without it, those with TD1 must rely on constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
