NAPLES, Fla. (May 17, 2021) – Pure Florida offers families Summer Science Kids Cruise at 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 5 and Saturday, July 31, featuring a hands-on and engaging science show by Glen Beitmen of “Super Science & Amazing Art” and a fun, memorable sightseeing cruise aboard the M/V Double Sunshine.
Saturday, June 5, Mr. Glen and participating children will cook up some excitement with the “Summer Treats & Fun” Summer Science Show. Children and their families will enjoy Beitmen’s entertaining humor and educational style using everyday items found in our kitchens to make yummy summer snacks and fun take home science activities to keep the fun going. Some activities include making refreshing beverages, ice cream, seeing explosions and liquid fireworks! The 30-minute science show will be action-packed and get you ready for summer!
Saturday, July 31, Mr. Glen and participating children and families will build up a fun “Mix, Build & Float” Summer Science Show. Children and their families will work together to complete each engineering challenge together as a family. Make different slimes and get ready to challenge the family catapult and boat building skills. This 30-minute science show will be the perfect way to get kids excited and ready to head back to school!
After the Summer Science Show, families can enjoy the sightseeing cruise along Naples Bay out to the Gulf of Mexico. The 90-minute cruise departs at 10am aboard M/V Double Sunshine, an open-air vessel that allows guests to move throughout the boat for the best views. While Pure Florida cannot guarantee animal sightings in the wild, potential wildlife sightings include dolphins, eagles, manatee, native birds and more.

Children are $21.50 (3yo – 12yo) and adult admission is $43, tax not included. Book early as there is limited seating available. M/V Double Sunshine is an open-air vessel. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Summer Science Cruises depart from historic Tin City, located at 1200 Fifth Ave. S. in Naples. Book Tickets
